We really enjoyed our meal here. We stopped in after a ride on the GAP rail trail. The food was amazing and very fresh. The entrees came with a salad, and we also enjoyed the Caprese appetizer with fresh tomatoes. The shrimp scampi was wonderful, as was the cheese ravioli. The renovated walls, floors, and ceilings of the historic building provided a nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the painted signs on the windows might indicate otherwise, the entrance is the front corner door.
We went last night for dinner (8/14/22) our server was very sweet. The music was a little louder than we would have liked, and our party of 2 adults and 1 child were seated at a HUGE table, which made it a bit more difficult to carry on conversation, especially for the dinner music to be a little loud. We ordered the bruschetta starter, which was very good, our son enjoyed it, too 🙂 the bread sticks were ok, would have been better if the oil saucer came with balsamic vinegar as well as the olive oil. Dinner salads were good, as well. We found it odd that the alfredo chicken did not come with pasta, nor did the chicken parmesian, there was an extra charge for the pasta. The fresh pasta was wonderful, and I really enjoyed the chicken parmesian. The chicken alfredo was above average, but could have used more garlic and parmesian in it. Overall, our experience was very positive and we will likely be back for a date night!
What a great ‘little’ surprise! We walked there tonight from a nearby B&B and were pleasantly surprised to see a wonderfully restored building, with good food and a great staff that was friendly and welcoming to us as visitors to town!
